Self Massage for Dry Skin in the Fall

As someone who suffers from chronic eczema, I am always looking for different ways to support my skin health. As you transition into fall, consider this practice designed to support the lubrication and rejuvenation of your skin during this drying season.

Self-Massage promotes healthy circulation, calms the nervous system and prevents the skin from drying out. Gently rub sesame or coconut oil into your skin, then take a warm/hot shower or bath. The shower will open your pores and allow the oil to seep into your skin. After the shower, gently dab your skin with a towel. The type of oil you use deeply depends on your metabolic system needs. Play with different oils to see what works best for your body type.
